American Lifestyle And Culture Article.I came to the United States about seven years ago from Aguacatan, Guatemala. I started working shortly after I arrived. After seven years of working hard, I decided to better my life and study English. I am very proud of everything I have accomplished in this journey of my life. Through this hard journey, I found God. After all of these events that have happened in my life, God has been a blessing to me. He has allowed me to help and provide for my family who is still living in Guatemala.
Living in the United States has allowed me to have a lot of opportunities and I am very thankful. I give a lot of respect to this country.As of right now, I enjoy working and helping the people in my church. Through church, I have learned that God helps anyone that is loyal to him, so I try to do the same with others. I try to do my best to set an example for the young adults in my church.
By doing this, it has taught me and helped me to become a better person for them and myself. I do these things because growing up in a country like Guatemala was very hard. I had to struggle with hunger, education and liberty. I had a lot of responsibilities as a kid and my education was very limited. Due to all these experiences, I really appreciate all the things that this country has to offer me.
It provides me with great opportunities to better my life. I will always look back to the way I was raised back in Guatemala. The experiences that I had make me a better and stronger person preparing me for my future. God Bless America, the land that I love.
