Essay On The Hockey Match.Hockey is our national game. That is why it is very common in Pakistan. I am very fond of hockey matches. I go to see it where it is played.
The match which amused me was played last Sunday. It was between our school and Govt. High School. Both the teams were strong. Thousands of people came to see the match.
There were many hawkers who were selling edible things. Many policemen were also there to maintain law and order. The players entered the ground at 3 p.m.
The referee whistled and the match started. Govt. High School team pressed our team but it continued defence. Neither of the teams could score a goal in the first half.
The second half was a good one. In the last five minutes two penalty corners were offered to our team. Each time they scored. Everybody clapped his hands. People shouted and raised slogans. Thus Govt. High School team was defeated. We werevery happy. It was an interesting match.
