Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the founder' of Pakistan. He was born in Karachi on 25th December, 1876. He passed his Matriculation examination at the age of sixteen. His father sent him to England for higher education.

He passed Bar-at-law from London. Then he returned home. He started prac¬tice in Karachi but soon shifted to Bombay. In no time he became one of the best lawyers of his time. He wanted to work for the freedom of his country.

He joined the Indian National Congress. After sometime he left the congress and joined An India Muslim League. He organise& the Muslim League.

In a short time it be¬came a strong party. In March 1940, All India Muslim League de¬manded division of India into two states.

One for the Hindus and other for the Muslims. It is called Pakistan Resolution. Quaid-e-Azam led the struggle for Pakistan. The Hindus and the British were afraid of him. At last Pakistan came into being on 01 14th of August 1947.

 He was a true Muslim, and a symbol of in tegrity and honesty. He never compromised over principles. I le was undaunting politician. Quaid's motto, "Work, work and work" is a call to wake us up from slumber and work hard to achieve national goals. Quaid- e- Azam died on September 11, 1948
