Short Essay On A Flood For Kids.The havoc wrought by floods is enormous. Thousands are rendered homeless and lose what they possess. Many are carried away by the rush of water and are either drowned or eaten away by wild  animals and reptiles.

Some are taken by surprise by the incoming flood, and are crushed to death under the weight of collapsing') houses and trees.

Standing crops are damaged; trees are uprooted w; cattle are killed and houses are washed away. In many cases people are held up in their houses and cannot escape to dry lands.

Then, they die of starvation' I. The sight is extremely pathetic and distressing. After floods conies famine in all its vigour, with various diseases following in its wake
