Essay On The Street Hawker.The street hawker is a familiar figure' in Pakistan. He can be seen in every bazaar and street. He is a poor man and has not sufficient capital to run a regular shop. He carries his wares in a tray, pot or basket. Some street hawkers have reedstands under their armpits.

He is generally illiterate, and wears dirty clothes. Street hawkers sell toilet goods, fruits, vegetables, cloth, parched and boiled grams, utensils, ghee, gur and other things which attract the attention of women and children.

They know the taste and mentality of their customers. They please them very easily and charge '° high prices. Some hawkers have sweet voice.

They take futil advantage!' of it and announce their wares in a singsong manner°. Some hawkers have invented pet phrases  in which they praise their wares.

They amuse their customers with their witty remarks. There are sonic hawkers who are hated by all, because they rend the ears of the people with their shrill voice'. Street hawkers generally sell staler thing.

But in one respect are very useful, for they bring to our very door. Some hawkers spoilchildren by selling to them on credit.
